A Trip to Gorges du Verdon

When I first met, Stephane.  He had mentioned to me in casual conversation that if I ever visited, one of the first places he’d take me to see would be the majestic Gorges du Verdon.  Of course, I had never heard of this national park, nestled by rolling hills of lavender fields, which contrast with the azure blue of the lake, the rustic greens of the pinon trees and ancient stone walls of the nearby village of Esperon de Verdon.  Unfortunately for me, I was not able to see the lushness of Lavender which blooms in late Summer.  It’s something I’ve yet to behold and holding my breath patiently for that magical camera moment.   What an incredible opportunity for my Nikon.  Soon, I’ll go back and capture the allure along with my other half, his boy and my pup, and maybe, a little picnic in tow for the four of us.  ❤
